Aspen Mountain skiing began at the site of Lift 1 and it is being revitalized with the Gorsuch Haus development as a part of a greater plan to transform the Lift 1 neighborhood to better serve the community and create a world-class ski-racing venue for generations to come. Gorsuch Haus will be an intimate 81-room hotel with 4 residences located ski-in/ski-out on the west portal of Aspen Mountain. Hotel amenities will include a World Cup après deck, a restaurant and bar with an outdoor dining terrace, a rooftop terrace with pool, a library area honoring Aspen’s skiing heritage, a spa and fitness center, a ski concierge and ski lockers, a retail , and flexible meeting space for community events and other social functions.
