Inspired by historical coastal settlements, Compass Point I is designed in harmony with its natural environment along the Gulf of Mexico. Wind, sun, and salt water are omnipresent and challenging factors in living by the sea. Watersound Compass Point I is a cluster of 24 homes that respond to this site by using regional vernacular solutions in tandem with northeastern shingle-style architecture.
