Christian B. Barlock
Over the past 12 years, Christian Barlock, 44, has been an integral part of the design leadership of the 4240 Denver office. He has acted as lead designer on a broad range of projects with extensive experience in 4240’s multi-family residential and hospitality portfolio at the state and national level. His designs include the 500,000 square foot mixed-use development of the Arrabelle at Vail Square, Horizon Pass and SnowCloud Lodges at Bachelor Gulch, and Disney's Wilderness Lodge Vacation Club in Orlando.
Christian's winning design for Sunset Magazine's 1997 Western Dream Home Competition led to other custom residential designs including the Smith Residence which was published in the book '100 More of the World's Best Houses.'
His team approach to problem solving and experience in detailing complex projects are enduring skills honed early in his career at KMD architects in San Francisco while working on the GSA Oakland Federal Building.
